We are excited that you are considering Napa Valley Cooking School for your educational choice. Many qualified applications are received annually and we take time to carefully review each individual applicant. Although there is not an official application deadline, we begin accepting applications in January. Our 14 month Professional Culinary program starts ONLY once a year, just after Labor Day in September and runs until mid-June in St. Helena, with off-site externships throughout the world taking place late June-mid-October. Serious applicants submit their required applications materials early in the process to improve their chances of securing a place in the program to start in the fall. The deadline for application for the September 2018 start is August 27.

Each year we enroll 10-15 students. Our goal is to provide a framework where students can grow by learning professional culinary and pastry skills required for them to enter a career at a fine-dining establishment.
