Each year at the end of the fall and spring semesters, our Professional Culinary Students prepare a multi-course luncheon daily as a way to gain a real-time experience of working in a fine dining restaurant. Restaurant is a multi-course degustation menu developed by the students themselves, made with the highest quality, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. We are also proud to serve wine that has been generously donated by some of the area's finest wineries. Vegetarian meal options are available.

We have gained quite a reputation for our creative decor, excellent service and superb cuisine. Meals are prepared using produce from our organic student garden, eggs from our own hens and humanely raised meat products from the local purveyors.

MAKING RESERVATIONS

Advance planning with your fellow diners will ensure the greatest likelihood of obtaining your desired reservation date. Spring Restaurant 2019 will take place in St. Helena May 21 through June 7 (Tuesday- Friday only, closed 5/28 in observance of Memorial Day) with either a 12:00 or 12:30 seating time. Online reservations open on May 1 at 8am and fill very quickly. Please be sure to indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when you make your online reservation. We are unable to accommodate vegan diets, but offer vegetarian and gluten free options.

Should you be unable to secure a reservation online for your desired date(s), please contact us at 707-967-2901 to be placed on our waiting list. We regularly seat from our waiting list, contacting guests as far in advance as possible about any newly opened reservation, but sometimes only the day before or the morning of your requested date. The largest party we are able to accommodate via our online system is six people.

Should you wish to make a reservation for more than six guests, please do not book multiple individual tables of six guests. Instead, please contact UVC Interim Director Lissa Gibbs no later than April 29 by calling 707-967-2901 or via email: lissa.gibbs@napavalley.edu. A non-refundable deposit (applicable towards your meals) is required for parties of six or more guests within 48 hours of booking.

The largest party we are able to accommodate is six people. Payments accepted are cash or check only. Should you wish to reserve the entire Restaurant dining room (55 guests at $45 per guest, plus 15% or more gratuity) in advance, please contact UVC Interim Director Lissa Gibbs by October 30 via email: lissa.gibbs@napavalley.edu

PAYMENT

Price per guest is $45/person. Payments accepted on the date of service are CASH AND CHECK ONLY. Reserved parties of six or more guests must make a 50% non-refundable deposit (applicable towards their meals) within 48 hours of making their reservation (via check, cash, or credit card by contacting the Upper Valley Campus at 707-967-2901). Should you wish to reserve the entire Restaurant dining room (55 guests at $45 per guest, plus 15% or more gratuity) in advance, please contact UVC Interim Director Lissa Gibbs no later than April 29 via email: lissa.gibbs@napavalley.edu.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours prior to your reservation for parties smaller than six. During Restaurant (May 21-June 7), all cancellations must be made between the hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please call the kitchen at (707) 967-2999 for cancellations during Restaurant service dates. There is no voicemail on this phone line, so please call back if it is not answered immediately.
